A graduate of the film programs at New York University and The New School, Patranila enjoys an exciting career on both sides of the camera as an actress, singer, voiceover artist, writer, director and producer. She wrote and directed The Drawing Room for The Theatre Studio's Short One-Act Festival and her screenplay, Crazy Black Chicks, was selected to launch the American Theater of Harlem's Comedy Reading Series. She is the former producer of the sketch comedy show AMERICAN CANDY that performed regularly at Gotham Comedy Club, Comic Strip and other venues in New York and she is now the director of the new sketch comedy web series, It's Funny I'm Just Saying.

Patranila (@patranila) is the founder of Greenlight Yourself, a consulting service and inspirational website for actors and creative entrepreneurs.

Her television appearances include roles on Chappelle's Show, As The World Turns and The Guiding Light and she can be seen in the indie films Monkeys & Robots, The Saint of Avenue B and The Yakuza and the Mermaid. Always happy to return to her first love of music, Patranila has toured with the Harlem Gospel Choir as a Featured Vocalist and has recorded two songs for the soundtrack of The Yakuza and the Mermaid.
An accomplished voiceover artist, Patranila works with a diverse roster of clients including Revlon, Tiffany & Co., L'Oreal, Universal Studios, HBO and The Jackie Robinson Foundation.

In her spare time, Patranila indulges her love of style and beauty as Editorial Director of her lifestyle blog The Patranila Project and works as a beauty contributor for Jones Magazine.
