Patrice German

Born in Asheville, NC July 29, 1958. I am happily married for a long time now (30 years) and mother of two, grandmother of three.

I have lived in seven states: NC, MS, WA, PA, TN, NJ, SC - in that order. I was in the USAF right after high school and served at 62APS, McChord AFB, WA before being honorably discharged.

I have taken many courses and seminars over the years, but only got serious about finaliizing a degree in 2009. I have completed two Master Gardening courses, through Clemson University and University of Tennessee; numerous decorative art seminars with nationally reknowned instructors; Dale Carnegie Public Speaking; and, SC State Certified Beekeeping - Journeyman Level.

In addition to working on my degree, I am working at a garden center and substitute teaching in our local schools. I also am currently serving on the board of the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation.

I love reading, gardening, travel, kayaking, hiking, walking with my dogs, Deacon and Blue (yes, i am a Steely Dan fan).
