W. Patric Gregory is an accomplished business executive and entrepreneur with over four decades of experience in the industrial processing industry. He currently serves as the CEO of Highway Safety Corp., a major manufacturer and supplier of highway guardrail products, end terminals, bridge rail and overhead sign structures.

Patric truly enjoys the entrepreneurial lifestyle that comes with owning his own business. As Patric contends, there is nothing more rewarding than working for yourself, controlling your own destiny, and creating something that you are truly passionate about. While he admits the early going was rough -- the market was regional, and the economies of scale were almost nonexistent -- Patric has truly enjoyed the process of building the company.

W. Patric Gregory graduated of Marquette University in 1967 with a degree in Economics. While an undergrad, he launched another one of his early business ventures, Desk Blotters. Desk Blotters featured sorority phone numbers, the varsity basketball schedule, and other need-to-know information for students. Advertisers paid for the exposure and the blotters were given away. He also became a Master playing Duplicate Bridge, which paid for a portion of his education, as did “amateur” fights at the Elks Club.

Outside of his professional endevors, W. Patric Gregory is a dedicated philanthropist who cares deeply about building stronger communities through access to quality education. W. Patric Gregory is a proud supporter of Achievement First, a network of public charter schools that aims to deliver on the promise of equal educational opportunity for all of America's children. He serves on the Board of the Elms City School System, which is apart of the New Haven, CT network of schools and home to Elm City College Preparatory Elementary School and Elm City College Preparatory Middle School.
