Patricia Walker has a record of consistently improving operational performance in the service-oriented, not-for-profit sector. She has 17+ years of experience leading teams of 10-200 staff members. She has had P&L responsibility for a $30 million arts organization.

In addition to P&L management, Patricia’s broad background includes success in leadership, human resources, diversification strategies, metric deployment, performance optimization, operational efficiencies, HR and regulatory compliance.

A transformational leader, Ms. Walker has been the driving force that identifies and removes obstacles to ensure growth and revenue goals are met. Patricia builds customer-focused organizations and the infrastructure required to support and exceed organizational goals year-after-year.

She has continually maximized productivity, controlled costs, capitalized on new market opportunities and delivered highly-effective fundraising strategies to ensure aggressive targets were met.

Strategic and tactical planning, P&L, human resources, operations, marketing, change management, fundraising and negotiations are her strengths. Patricia is especially strong in building relationships not just with community leaders but with business executives, volunteers and board members.

With exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, Ms. Walker has established change management systems that enabled smooth transitions during challenging circumstances.

While her more recent experience has been in the not-for-profit environment, Patricia has been successful in healthcare and the public sector. Her business skills and leadership abilities transcend any company who needs to drive strategic advancement of organizational objectives.

Ms. Walker’s successful career is augmented by an MA in Cultural Anthropology from Cornell University, and a BA in English (magna cum Laude) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Patricia has also been SHPR certified from HRCI.

In her free time, Patricia loves spending time hiking with her dog and her daughter.
