Hello. My name is Patricia Carr (née Sonego) and I am a professional voice talent based in New York City. I received my voice over training at Edge Studio in New York City, studying with award-winning voice over talent Carol Monda (audiobook), Vanessa Richardson (narration), Linda Jones (commercial), and Jay Snyder (animation).
A communications professional for more than a decade, I bring versatility and strong interpretive skills that allow me to add voice to challenging copy that is long or contains medical, technical or foreign language terms and names. I possess a rich, clear voice that is the result of my classical training and experience as a professional opera/chamber music singer and recording artist.

Voice Over Experience
Clients appreciate my ability to work quickly and take direction well. I am intelligent, personable and able to handle complicated and diverse copy. Although I am not fluent, I often sing in Italian, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Latin, so I have a facility for foreign language pronunciation. I am also a terrific mimic and capable of foreign accents, character voices, a lisp, and other such vocal effects.
