Patricia Collantes
After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, with her BA in Psychology, Patricia Collantes began her successful career in Operations Management with Smith Barney as the Assistant Operations Manager. Within two years, Patricia Collantes rose to Vice President, Operations Manager, a position which she held until 2010, when she became the Vice President, Senior Complex Service Manager of the merged Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
During her career, Patricia Collantes shouldered the tasks of project management, business development, revenue enhancement, and people and expense management. She was responsible for the direction of the operational workflow of a directed share program that generated $1 million in gross revenue in one month. Collantes consistently implemented and collaborated on programs that increased the efficacy of operations and maximized sales and profits. She was responsible for operations and business administration of a staff of 60 with a team of three exempt managers and seven field offices in three Bay Area counties.
Aside from her work at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Patricia Collantes also serves her community. Collantes volunteers at the San Francisco Animal Care and Control and has participated in charitable activities such as the Baylands Summer 10K Run for Palo Alto Community Child Care; the Lollipop 5K Run for the Girls on the Run afterschool program; the Stanford Habitat for Humanity 10K Home Run; and the San Francisco 5K Walk and Run for the Hungry.
In her free time, Patricia Collantes engages in continuing education courses in leadership and human resources. She is CPR/AED certified and enjoys cardio kickboxing, playing tennis, and running.
