Born in Washington D.C. March 10, 1990 and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Patricia found her passion for chasing waves and wind at an early age.

As a professional windsurfer for 13 years, Patricia has won multiple national titles and reached the podium at World Cup Regattas.

Ranked top 10 in the world, Patricia has represented Brazil in the Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, ranking 8th in the later.

Patricia has won the Guadalajara 2011 and Toronto 2015 Pan-American Games.

As recognition for her results, Patricia was invited to join the Rio Team, a selection of top athletes sponsored by the City of Rio de Janeiro.

Also, in 2010 she was appointed by the Brazilian Olympic Committee to be the athlete representative at the first edition of the Summer Youth Olympic Games, held in Singapore.
