Writing is my game. I write grants for nonprofits to help them achieve their goals, assisting those on the fringe of mainstream society. And I write mysteries to entertain readers. My work includes over fifty-five million in funded grants and fiction published in mystery novels and short stories. My amateur sleuth, Bridget O'Hern, has appeared in Death Stalks the Khmer and Death Comes Too Soon. My besotted ex-cop, Gus Maloney, appeared in "What Price Retribution" in the Seattle Noir Anthology (Akashic Books). And I'm also a Short Mystery Fiction Society (SMFS) member, a Derringer recipient, and also a board member of Mystery Writers of America, Northwest Chapter.
