Patricia Higgins has elevated profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction for leading global fashion and accessory companies for the past 25 years. Her extensive experience in business development, retail operations, marketing, merchandising, and talent management spans from luxury goods and high volume retailers.
In her most recent role as Senior Vice President of Tourneau watches, Patricia launched the new store concept for the fashion watch division.
As Brand President at Swatch North America, Patricia launched a product re-branding campaign, forged alliances with third party marketers, and revamped the ecommerce site to achieve impressive double-digit growth. These initiatives helped put Swatch back on the map after a ten year slump. She also retooled the company’s operations infrastructure, creating strategies to sell off aged merchandise, slashing inventory shrink, and building a best-in-class sales team.
Prior to working at Swatch, Patricia was retained by European luxury retailers to conduct retail audits, create customer satisfaction and competitor surveys, and develop marketing and business plans.
During her tenure as National Director of Retail for Lalique, Patricia built strategic partnerships with corporations and embassies to propel sales and expand the brand’s reach.
Bluebell Group Ltd., one of the leading luxury goods agents and importers in Asia, brought Patricia to Hong Kong where she oversaw sales and store operations for multi-site luxury designer brands.
Patricia spent the first nine years of her career in Paris, France. During her time there, she held various roles in sales and business development. She partnered with a technology firm to develop customized software for luxury retailers earlier she was a District Manager/Buyer for a socks/hosiery firm. Patricia started her career on the sales floor at the venerable Vicky Tiel ((the 1980’s fashion designer for Hollywood and the rich and famous) in Paris, learning couture “the old fashioned way” from the ground up.
Patricia earned her M.B.A. in International Business from Schiller International University in Paris and her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech and State University in Blacksburg, VA. She is also an Accredited Jewelry Professional, certified by the Gemology Institute of America. She is fluent in French and holds dual citizenship in the United States and EU.
