Patricia Holbert

I was born on 9/11/1953. I’m a student attending majoring in mass communications. I was born in , but eventually I migrated to and then back to .

While at JSU, I produced religious television programs for seven years at the Peg (Public, Education, and Government) Network from 1996- 2005. Under the supervision of Ken Stiggers, I gained knowledge of television production; although I first cut my teeth at the all Jazz radio station WJSU, from 1975-1978. In my productions, I try to couple the two mediums, radio and television together in getting my mission across to the public.

My dream is to become a professional community organizer practitioner. With God’s help, I hope to address inequality of wealth vs poverty among the many communities and increase the public’s awareness about how to solve social problem.
