Patricia Karounos

Born and raised in Toronto, I'm an 18 year old journalism student at Ryerson University. I was Editor-in-Chief of my high school yearbook, and have been published on websites like hyable.com and canyouth.ca. When I'm not in class, you can find me reading, training at my karate dojo, or watching TV.

I'm an aspiring entertainment journalist. Specifically, I'd like to cover film and television, as a reporter and critic. Pop culture is a huge part of our lives, and I think it's important that we don't constantly write it off as mindless escapism. I want to emphaisize how important film and television are for entertainment, and their value as a growing and important method for storytelling.

Plus, I'll watch bad TV so you don't have to.
