Patricia Spellen
Patricia Spellen holds responsibilities as Executive Manager of Field Support Services with Aon Risk Services, Inc., of Maryland. Patricia Spellen coordinates daily between the Owings Mills office and accounting service associates working in New Delhi, India. She ensures that consistent levels of quality are met, in adherence with service-level agreements. Additional responsibilities include recognizing performance excellence among associates and allocating direct-bill revenue to clients in a timely and accurate fashion. Taking a position as Program Manager with Aon Risk Services in 2003, Ms. Spellen focused on fulfilling an offshoring initiative involving Aon Risk Services’ Premium Accounting Service Center. She led the transition of more than 80 service processes to India through the active training of 60 new associates, both in New Delhi and at the Owings Mills office. Her efforts earned her a position as Executive Manager within a year, with the entire transition management team receiving the Aon Leadership Model Award. Patricia Spellen is currently engaged in improving communication efficiencies between Aon Risk Services’ local offices and the New Delhi-based Premium Accounting Service Center. In particular, she works with data management developers in ensuring increased transparency through recording unapplied revenue at the policy and client levels. She is also collaborating with the Outlook SharePoint Team in the development of a carrier-handling database. This new system will allow heath and benefits carriers to easily retrieve statements and allocate revenue from Aon Risk Services’ offshore partners. A netball team member during her undergraduate years studying Natural Sciences and Urban Planning at the University of the West Indies at Mona, Jamaica, Patricia Spellen continues to enjoy netball and tennis in her free time.
