Patricia Stamm MD

Currently based in San Rafael, California, Patricia Stamm, MD has operated a private practice in the field of general psychiatry since 1981. She is currently an active member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association. Educated at Barnard College, Patricia Stamm, MD earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English in 1970, graduating magna cum laude and gaining admission to Phi Beta Kappa. After studying theater for a year at New York University Graduate School of Education, she pursued her interests in the medical field as a student at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completing her Doctor of Medicine there in 1977. Prior to establishing her private practice, she served as a medical intern and resident in psychiatry at Mt. Zion Hospital and Langley Porter Neuro-Psychiatric Institute.
