I am a US Army Civil Affairs veteran and global environmental health specialist who focuses on mitigating public health vulnerabilities and enhancing civil-military collaboration in underserved and conflict-affected communities globally. I have worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the Republic of Korea, and the Philippines.
I have ten years of experience focusing on medical outreach program design, monitoring and evaluation, civil-military partnerships, program management, and long-term sustainability projects at the grassroots level. Additionally, I have three years of teaching global health applications to unconventional warfare environments to Army Special Operations medical personnel.
For four years I served in the Republic of the Philippines, designing, monitoring, and evaluating public and curative health outreach initiatives conducted primarily in the restive southern regions known as the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao.
