Patrick Camacho

Cambridge, MA

Originally from Kansas, I moved to Boston in 2006 to attend Boston College. That would turn out to be a short lived adventure, as design and programing soon caught my eye. In 2007, I took a leave of absence from school to found a design and development company called 38 Media.

That was my first real introduction to entrepreneurship, client work, and serious development. Throughout the years, I also partook in a couple different projects and ventures - I could never quite get the hang of doing just one thing.

In the early months of 2012, I decided it was time to close the doors on 38 Media, and joined the team at TipTap. That was my first full time job working for someone else since I was in high school, and (being free from the responsibilities of running a company) allowed me to rediscover my love for programming.

I was fortunate to have been hired at TipTap with my former business partner, and in the spring of 2012, we decided to start DaftDevelopers, an informal title under which to publish our joint thoughts, experiences, mistakes, and open source projects.

In the fall of 2012, I joined the team at Crashlytics as a front end engineer, and have been working at building great products and giving back to the community with open source software and talks.
