Patrick Clarke

As a senior technology consultant and solutions architect, Patrick offers an accomplished IT career, spanning over 15 years, which includes the delivery of large-scale Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions to both regional and international organisations.

An ECM Solutions Architect for IBM Software Group, Patrick was recently recognised for his high-level ECM expertise and was promoted to Worldwide Technical Specialist, playing a key role in the development of global ECM opportunities for this industry leader. Having worked within vendor, technology consultancy and client-side environments Patrick is able to provide a complete and rounded perspective, working with blue-chip and SME organisations to lead the development, sale, marketing and support of competitive ECM and BPM portfolios.

Patrick commenced his career within IT development and programming, working for Professional Provident Society, Adenine Technologies and the Tennant Allfinanz Group before moving to Nedcor where he was instrumental in the support and management of a complex, multi-site IT infrastructure. It is his natural technical leadership style and solid technical skills (is a Master Certified IT Specialist) that make Patrick so successful as he can apply proven commercial acumen and a solid understanding of core technologies to the delivery of wide-ranging consultancy and project services within the ECM space.

On a personal level Patrick is prolific in his local community, with a true passion and commitment to social and community improvement. His entrepreneurial vision has been used to great effect in the start up and board-level management of two not-for-profit organisations; the Hope Ithemba Crisis Pregnancy Centre and the Springscare Community Initiative, ventures which Patrick is extremely proud to be associated with.

An accomplished public speaker, Patrick has attended numerous international events, speaking on a range of technical and product related subjects.
