Patrick Lenihan

Patrick is a 23 year old asset management analyst with a growing passion in analyzing global macroeconomic data and equity market fundamentals. He currently is a rotational analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management with investor relations experience across a suite of advisory products including diversified multi-asset, hedge fund of funds, private equity fund of funds and single equity portfolios.
From the rotational program, Patrick has been able to gain a broad skill set and knowledge base. In addition to the product and investment knowledge noted above, Patrick studied the emerging markets region, researched various countries and ultimately presented to Portfolio Managers on his thesis with regards to the investment opportunity in Mexico. He has also led projects in the AML/KYC and Dodd-Frank regulatory workstreams, developed the internal performance report for our advisory SMAs and chaired his anlayst class' training team.
Patrick possesses a unique background, with work experience at Fiat Chrysler Automotives LLC, General Electric Aviation and the Holyoke Gas & Electric. Although he enjoyed his experience at each company, his passion aligned with analyzing and understanding how each company operated from an investing perspective. Patrick ultimately moved to the financial services industry, leveraging the valuable skills and experiences in each of his previous positions to be successful.
In addition to working at J.P. Morgan, Patrick is a 2015 Level II Candidate in the CFA Program, plays hockey weekly and enjoys traveling. He completed a Sprint distance triathalon in 2012 and plans to train for more in the future.
Patrick was born and raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2013. He enjoys rooting on both Boston/New England and Michigan Wolverine sports teams.
