Has Studied In The United State Air Force Academy
Patrick Rhatigan completed his graduation from the United State Air Force Academy in the year 1991 with a degree in English Literature. He enrolled in the academy in 1987, and in 2004, he received his Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science from Air Command and Staff College (ACSC). This college prepares field grade officers of all services (major selects and primarily majors), including US civilians, and international officers to assume positions of higher responsibility within the military as well as other government arenas.
It focuses on shaping as well as fabricating the commanders and leaders of tomorrow. These graduates are well educated in the profession of arts with great emphasis on the utility of air and space power in mutual campaign planning and the operational art of war. In 1997, Col Rhatigan attended Squadron Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alaska, and in 2003, Air Command and Staff College to do a Masters in Operational Art and Science at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL. In 2006, he joined Air War College for correspondence. From 2009 to 2010, Patrick Rhatigan studied in National War College to receive a Masters degree in National Security Strategy. This college provides a single phase Joint Professional Military Education course for mid-career US military officers, foreign military officers, and civilian US government officials.
He has many years of experience in Government, Top Secret, Air Force, Military, and National Security fields. He joined the military as a Second Lieutenant on May 29, 1991. On May 29, 1993, he was promoted as the First Lieutenant and on May 29, 1995, as the Captain. Patrick Rhatigan again promoted as the Major on May 6, 2002, Lieutenant Colonel on December 1, 2006, and Colonel on September 1, 2014. Presently, he is serving as the 19th Airlift Wing Commander at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas.
