In particular, he enjoys gardening whenever time permits. In fact, his family's home received a listing in the 2009 Hidden Gardens' tour of Middletown, New York. At the same time, he participates in a number of ongoing philanthropic projects. Operating as a regular volunteer with the Orange Literacy, he teaches English as a Second Language and basic English literacy through the program. Patrick Beyea continues to live and work in the New York area.
