Patrick Cordero

As the sole owner of The Law Offices of Patrick L. Cordero, PA, Patrick Cordero leads a firm handling a considerable number of bankruptcy cases in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Originally from the Bronx, New York, he is fluent in Spanish. He has six children with his wife, Ana, and is deeply involved in his community.

began his higher education at Marquette University, a Jesuit university in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in 1983. Next, he entered law school, attending St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1987.

Patrick Cordero has been admitted to the bar and holds license to practice in Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Federal Courts. He is a member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers, and the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America). Patrick Cordero is also a contributing member of the Latin Builders Association and the Latin American Business Association.

While still working on his Juris Doctor, Patrick Cordero worked as a Law Clerk for Miami’s Freshman, Freshman & Traitz, PA law firm. After graduating, he practiced with the firm of Cordero & Psaltides, PA in 1989 and 1990.

Patrick Cordero’s law firm currently employs 55 people. His dedication to his work as a practitioner of law recently earned the title Miami Lawyer of the Decade. In addition to providing legal counsel and other services through his firm, he serves as a frequent consultant to other attorneys on matters of asset protection and bankruptcy law.
