Patrick Dockter

Hey there, I’m Patrick, and am a dedicated construction professional. Not only do I enjoy building things, I also have a background in utilizing and integrating technology within both manufacturing and construction, from digital fabrication, Building Information Modeling (BIM), 3D scanning, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and more. My previous education in both Mechanical Design and Geography has provided a great background with using various technology related applications to solve problems, create, and design.

As a current graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Construction Management, I have been able to research and learn about new technologies in the industry, such as Digital Twins, robotic integration in construction sites, as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications relevant to the construction industry.

With over a decade of experience in advanced manufacturing, I utilized that experience into architectural digital fabrication, working on luxury residential projects in the Chicago area. Afterwards I worked for architecture and engineering companies in various roles, including estimating, project design, surveying, and am now managing high-end residential construction projects as an Owner's Representative and Property Development Manager.
