Patrick Guadagno is an established brand strategist and management executive working with companies such as Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace. As President and Chief Operating Officer of Versace from 2005 to 2009, Patrick Guadagno oversaw women’s ready-to-wear apparel, accessories, and menswear in the Canadian and U.S. markets.
From 2003 to 2005, Patrick Guadagno served as Managing Director of D&G Dolce & Gabbana USA, the U.S. subsidiary of Dolce & Gabbana S.p.A. Patrick Guadagno created the company’s three-year growth plan during its transition from licensee status to corporate-run status.
Patrick Guadagno also led Ittierre/IT USA as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1996 to 2003. The company licensed an extensive designer brand portfolio at the time that included Roberto Cavalli, D&G Dolce & Gabbana, and Gianfranco Ferre. Patrick Guadagno successfully introduced IT USA-affiliated brands to the U.S. retail sector, opening several D&G Dolce & Gabbana and Gianfranco Ferre stores in the first two years of operation. Patrick Guadagno managed double-digit annual growth throughout his time with IT USA.
From 1992 to 1995, Patrick Guadagno served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Calvin Klein Company. Responsible for all levels of operation, Patrick Guadagno oversaw wholesale, retailing, marketing, sourcing, and production. Patrick Guadagno also negotiated the lease of prime retail space, pioneered a profitable in-store shop concept, and created a highly efficient network of retail and distributional partners.
Additionally, Patrick Guadagno served as Vice President Menswear at Giorgio Armani Fashion Corp., spearheading the introduction of the Mani by Giorgio Armani Collection. As Senior Vice President, Patrick Guadagno oversaw Giorgio Armani Le Collezione womenswear. Patrick Guadagno increased brand marketability through expedited seasonal deliveries and worked directly with the design studio to maximize sell-throughs. In 1988, Patrick Guadagno was promoted to President and COO of Giorgio Armani Fashion Corp. He took aggressive moves to increase sales volumes by establishing freestanding stores and initiating other retail strategies.
