Patrick Horneman

Patrick has enjoyed an eclectic career. On leaving school Patrick spent 3 years in a monastery studying Philosophy, Sociology, Anthropology, Theology and Ancient Scripture. While there he was a member of the local Bush Fire Brigade. Patrick then completed his nursing studies at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney. Concurrently he completed his training with University of NSW Regiment as an officer in the Australian Army Reserve. Service as a volunteer youth worker in the seaside suburb of Manly followed. With marriage and family responsibilities Patrick moved into Financial Planning for a number of decades, eventually working for NAB Financial Planning as a Practice Development Manager. He has since moved back into an advisory role with Media Super an Industry Super Fund and is based here in Perth. Patrick was a member of Australian Institute of Management (AIM) Professional Advisory board, sat on the Committee of Management for the Catholic Record and he is a Mentor for UWA graduate students and members of AIM. His Corporate responsibilities have included Kalparrin Board Member and Committee of management The Record. Patrick is married to Patricia.
