Patrick Hume is a screenwriter and playwright, originally from Boston and now based in Los Angeles.

Patrick was a 2013 nominee for the Kennedy Center National 10-Minute Play Award for Do Not Disturb, which premiered at the Salem Theatre Company in 2011. His work has also been produced by The Colonial Radio Theatre On The Air and Cheng & Tsui. His stage plays have been read at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, the Road Theatre, Lesley University, and Interim Writers.

In addition to his creative endeavors, Patrick provides screenplay consulting services and teaches horror writing at the graduate level. He has previously worked in educational publishing and social media marketing.

Patrick relocated to Los Angeles in September 2013 and is currently pursuing opportunities in film and television.
