Critical Care Pharmacist
Patrick Ladapo is a critical care pharmacist located in Springfield, MO. His educational background is quite extensive, beginning at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, where he earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry.
In addition to his commitment to academics, Patrick was also a member of a few different honor societies. He took a brief break from education to work as a personal trainer and model, spending time exploring some of his many passions.
After a few years in that line of work, he longed for more and returned to the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in Missouri. There, he excelled in his studies, graduating with several distinctions and honors.
He was the highest performing student in his class and held the highest GPA among his peers. Some of his academic accolades include:

During his academic endeavors, Patrick was also a member of the Rho Chi Society, an international honor society for pharmaceutical sciences, with membership reserved for students who were in the top 20 percent of their class.
Ladapo participated in many volunteer activities during his time at school, as well, working with a COVID vaccination clinic and preparing COVID vaccines for the community.
His other volunteer work includes providing medication recommendations to providers and performing medication reconciliation for patients at the St. Louis University Health Resource Center Adult Clinic.
During the Affinia and COGIC Health Fairs, Patrick was responsible for providing screenings for attendees for high blood pressure. He also provided education on primary prevention and medication adherence.
At the Outreach Advocacy Health Fair, Patrick conducted diet assessments for attendees while offering information on healthy food options and recommendations for physical activities to support a healthy lifestyle.
At the S.T.L.C.O.P. Cares in 2017, he taught attendees about specific risk factors and management of diabetes and prediabetes.
Following his formal education, he completed a one-year residency program at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis and is now ready for additional work in the local area as a critical care pharmacist.
