Hello, my name is Patrick Mosley and I am addicted to watching and analyzing sports. I have always found growing up that sports have been a tremendous way for me to bond with people. Even now that I three hours away from home my dad and I will only text each other about results from last nights game or about predictions for upcoming games. Sports are the avenue in which I have strengthened the relationship with my friends, as I coached a basketball team full of friends my senior year. Even in the quiet elevators of Russell Hall, if I see a person wearing a Braves jersey I'll mention it because when you and another person share the same team you automatically form a piece of everyday life that you can share. I find a tremendous amount of euphoria in being able to watch basketball and see the poetry of a play happening in front of my eyes or to see the pure raw emotion in a baseball players eyes after he just struck out in game 7 of the world series. For the past twelve to thirteen years of my life, I have dedicated every Sunday to watch the Los Angeles Chargers (once named San Diego Chargers) play. I put on my Chargers jersey, if it is cold I will put on my Chargers leather coat and I will absorb the display of pure craft that is the sport unfolding right in front of me. I spent the majority of my childhood collecting football cards and baseball cards and as I got older I formed fantasy football leagues that have spanned for seven-plus years. Sports have helped me step out of my shell and form bonds with those around me.
