Working to enable, empower and transform vulnerable communities with effective behavior change interventions that address public health inequities is an area that drives me. In addition to the vast experience in brand communication and public relations, I have strengthened my grasp of -health education, health promotion and advocacy, areas that inform public health policy. My colleagues think I like challenging assumptions, taking risks and I’m a charismatic role model for ethical behavior especially in the area of persuasive communication. I quite agree. With professional experience in New Jersey-US, Leeds-UK and in Africa, my goal is to tackle health inequalities and create healthy settings. I go about this by providing effective leadership, mentor-ship and direction that informs policy and debate -through evidence based practice, in well-being, community development, public health policy and Global health. By identifying capabilities and the capacity of community needs, I am able to activate effective solutions and cost effective approaches to achieving equitable and sustainable rise in the general level of population health and well-being.
