Patrick Shrum

An accomplished law enforcement professional with a significant history in the greater Los Angeles area, Patrick Shrum served a year with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and 5 years with the Redondo Beach Police Department (RBPD). During his brief time with the LAPD, he responded to more than 1,500 radio/self-initiated service calls, overseeing each situation to completion. In his last year with the RBPD, Patrick Shrum served as a police detective, heading felony investigations and presenting cases for filing by the district attorney.

Mr. Shrum has been studying criminal justice full-time at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, since January of 2019. To date, he has completed coursework in areas ranging from field investigation and classified document handling to crime prevention and weapons use. He is also developing his general relationship development/team leadership abilities and strengthening his writing, speaking, and presentation skills. Patrick Shrum is on schedule to obtain his bachelor of arts in criminal justice with a diverse academic focus.
