Patrick Soon

Patrick Soon is a California attorney at Goodman Mooney, LLP, an intellectual property and corporate law firm located in Irvine, California. He is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts

Patrick graduated in May 2012 as a Dean's Citation Awardee and Fellow for the Center for Intellectual Property from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, CA. During law school, in addition to being a staff editor of the Whittier Law Review and a national competing member of the Whittier Moot Court Board at the Cardozo BMI Competition in New York City, Patrick also worked as a teaching assistant in Contracts and a research assistant for a Copyright law article entitled, "Downloading, Distributing and Damages in the Digital Domain: The Need for Copyright Remedy Reform" (29 Santa Clara Computer & High Tech. Patrick is also very active with various bar associations such as the American Bar Association, Orange County Asian American Bar Association, the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. As President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association at Whittier Law, Patrick was named "Organization Leader of the Year" and "Student of the Year" for which he was awarded a $1500 scholarship at the national convention in Los Angeles.
