I am an Independent Insurance Adjuster. When I work, I work 7 days a week, 10 hours a day in an office helping people that have had some type of catastrophe happen to their home. I work with customers and contractors, usually in stressful situations. Needless to say it is a high stress job, but I love it! This job runs in cycles, depending on the storms and types of damages incurred, anywhere from a couple of months to several months at a time.

During the off season, I am free to do whatever I like. I usually have a down time where I catch up on my sleep and rest, then catch up on house work (which I hate, but love a clean house)! Next boredom can set in..... so my many and varied hobbies kick in. I love to quilt, embroidery (by machine), crochet, learning to knit, jewelry making and now blogging!

I want to travel, but my husband, Jim, works a regular job, so we have to work around his vacations. We are planning on Jim retiring next year. Looking forward to more time to travel. We have purchased a new (used) travel trailer that we plan to use to travel across the US next year. Open to suggestions for places to visit.
