For the past 6 years I have been working in the Electronic Banking & Payments Division of Emporiki Bank (now merged with Alpha Bank). During these years I have been engaged in all alternative channels of the Bank such as e-Banking, Phone Banking, ATM's, Automated Payment Systems, e-Commerce - the latter being my favourite. My latest involvement in the design of a new e-Commerce platform for the Bank made me realise that the future lies behind electronic payments (the whole world goes digital, so are payments) . Since then I am following all news and trends about the electronic payments sector with a focus on the new and emerging technologies such as mobile payments (remote or proximity). In my free time I enjoy playing my guitar, playing basketball, riding my bicycle and reading books of fantasy and mystery.
