The most important things in life aren't things, but, rather, the people whose lives we touch.

Each of us possesses the power to create positive change in our families and communities and I work each day to fulfill that goal. Toward that end, I value most the role of Mom, Mother, Mama and Mommy. Four amazing offspring keep me checking the local news and weather in San Diego, California, St. Petersburg, Florida, South Haven and Otsego, Michigan.

On the other side of my world of wonder resides board memberships for various non-profits and civic organizations.

A recent addition to the mix is the 100 Plus Women Who Care of Kalamazoo County. This group has been in existence since February of 2013 and currently boasts 145 Women Who Care in its membership. The passion for this one is at times overwhelming.

Secretly, a collector of shoes. To support this hobby, I work each day in Beautiful Downtown Kalamazoo as a real estate developer.

I care about our environment, believe global warming is a real problem and try to lead by example.

I would not want to live without good wine, good music or Lake Michigan within half an hour's drive.
