I call myself an Executive Recruiter. Some call us headhunters. These days we are "clonehunters" with clients being very specific in the criteria that they wish to fill, in terms of skills, experience, industry knowledge, etc.
Candidates also can be very specific as well as in their "wish lists" - perhaps location preference, new skills to add to their toolbox, type of company - and this is all okay and part of my job to manage! I love my job because people are my product! Sounds corny but it is the truth....
