Damien Patton
As a four-time entrepreneur, Damien has built his career on making ideas a reality. Damien has spent the last year building Banjo, a leading social discovery mobile service.
Banjo is one of the fastest growing companies in the location space with almost 2 million users in their first year. The company has been Apple's App of the Week in more than 70 countries, and has been the featured app on Google Play, twice. Banjo was awarded the 2011 Ruby Innovator Award by Matz, the creator of Ruby, as well as featured as a Heroku success story for Banjo's work in Ruby on Rails and MongoDB. With Banjo's fast growth and innovative technology, it has been recognized by the biggest names in news: Fox, CNN, HLN and Univision.
Damien's passion for problem solving is at the hallmark of everything he does. He has put his talents to use in some vastly varied disciplines. He served in Desert Storm, was the Chief Mechanic of the Lowe's racing team in NASCAR and even dusted for prints and collected DNA as a crime scene investigator while working full time in the role of COO for a technology company.
Banjo is growing and looking for talented and passionate individuals to join the team. To discuss career opportunities, contact Damien directly at [email protected].
