Patty Hamilton

I was born and raised in Grand Bayou, Louisiana. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Earth Science from Grambling State University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Louisiana State University-Shreveport with concentration in Supervision and Instruction. In addition, I have 30 hours above my master from Centenary College. My teaching experiences include J. S. Clark Middle School for 29 years and four years at Booker T. Washington Junior High School.

I am currently teaching Journey to Career to all seventh grade students at Lakeshore Middle School. In this course students develop skills and knowledge to help prepare them for their life long career. Students are engaged in activities that include self-assessments, career exploration, creating resumes, and career research. In addition, students will also earn one Carnegie credit for high school.
