Patty Swisher

Hi! I'm Patty Swisher.

I am a director-level brand marketing leader with omni-channel marketing communications, digital marketing and social media expertise, adept at working collaboratively on diverse projects in a deadline-oriented, agency-style environment. I am seeking a position that will benefit from my project management abilities, understanding of digital marketing and social media strategy, tactics and analytics, and related experience to showcase an organization’s strengths.

As the Senior Manager of Marketing Communications, I was responsible for setting and executing the marketing and communications strategies aligned to the growth strategy and business plan of assigned startup(s).

I am a hands-on professional working in concert with leadership to carry out tactical execution, to leverage strategic partners and resources, and work towards building a marketing communications team.

I am also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Communication for Point Park University where I teach Social Media "101" to graduate and undergraduate students.

I am co-founder of Social Media Group Pittsburgh (@smpgh).

I hold a MA in Communication from Point Park University, and BS BA in Marketing from Duquesne University.
