Paul Hernandez

Paul Hernandez is a current student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University and is focused in the area of Management Information Systems. Born and raised in El Paso, TX by a family from a Mexican origin, he has been exposed to various cultures and has been able to obtain a high quality of adaptability in any environment he is placed. He has been studying the area of information systems since the spring of 2014, but has had a knowledge of working with computers for many years now. He has a knowledge of working with various operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Apple Inc. OS along with many computer programs as well. His strong work ethic and ability to work very well in a team environment combined with a great conscious to work in the most effective and efficiently way possible makes him a strong candidate for employers and teams. Not only can he work well, but he also has very effective communication and social skills. He has been a manager and head of public relations for a local music band in the Lubbock, TX area for about a year and has doubled their fan base through social media, and has had positive feedback from shows with much success to the band and the venues. Along with his full-time student career, he also works at the school's library and is involved in various organizational activities around the campus therefore his success in managing these different areas demonstrates his organizing skills.
