Paul McDougall
Student, Finance, and outdoor enthusiast in Salt Lake City, Utah
Hi, my name is Paul McDougall. I am a finance student at the University of Utah. I plan to graduate from the Eccles School of Business in Spring of 2019. My ultimate goal is to become a financial consultant and eventually start up my own firm. I am a hardworking and dedicated student who has met the Dean's List requirements every semester of my college career. I have a passion for business, management, and marketing and hope to pursue more opportunities in this field.
In the summer of 2016, I worked as a full time car salesman at Larry H. Miller Ford Lincoln in Sandy, Utah. It was a difficult learning experience, however it taught me valuable negotiation and sales skills. For every month I was there, I well exceeded the sales goals my manager set for me. I enjoyed this experience, yet in the future I hope to explore more finance-related opportunities.
During my off-time, I throughly enjoy exploring the Wasatch and Uinta mountains located just outside the Salt Lake area. I have a passion for skiing, mountain biking, as well as fly fishing. Growing up in Boise, Idaho, I developed a great attachment to the mountains and outdoor lifestyle. Due to these interests I hope that my future academic and career endeavors take me in this direction.
