1.1 I have developed extensive knowledge of the processes and procedures for the application and approval of funding, client information systems, management systems and project monitoring, through my previous employment and my degree studies. Similarly, though my work as a Project Manager for Morgan Sinclair ltd, I have a good understanding of initiating processes, planning, defining and refining objectives and selecting the best course of action. I am also able to co-ordinate people and resources and maintain control of all processes, to ensure that objectives are met. 1.2 I have the skills to work with SMEs to develop their awareness of the way the Sustainability and Site Waste Management systems work also applying this in the construction of any new projects. 2 I have the skills necessary to carry out all the tasks associated with procurement, including identifying goods and services, completing purchase orders, ensuring delivery times are met and ensuring quality and accuracy. I have good communication skills and will be able to deal with enquiries and ensure all contacts are kept informed. When working on a project for the South Wales Police, close liaison was essential to ensure the detailed requirements were met. 3. I have good organisational skills and a clear understanding of the tendering process, which will enable me to co-ordinate panels for the selection of tender bids. I have extensive experience of report writing obtained though my studies. 4. I have the ability to work professionally with the Construction team to ensure the development of projects takes place on schedule and fulfils all requirements. I can work on all types of contracts Design and Build, JCT11, NEC, and DOM 1 and DOM 2 etc. I have worked with Planning and Highways officers on developments for the past twelve years and have good knowledge of highway and planning laws, including the laws on sustainability at the moment. 5. When managing projects I have been careful to monitor all aspects of on site work. This enabled me to deal with potential problems and take prompt action where necessary. 6. I regard setting clear objectives as essential to the effective completion of a project. I am used to careful and detailed planning, taking account of all the necessary resources, time scales and costs involved.
