Paul Steiger

I am a documentary filmmaker whose film subjects have ranged from the decay of the American public school system to children caught up in the horrors of war in Africa.

My films have appeared at the Toronto Film Festival, Birmingham Film Festival (UK), and British Urban Film Festival, among others.

I am a graduate of NYU; I've studied filmmaking at USC; and I've taught filmmaking at Brooklyn College/CUNY.

My current project, Krush, about the explosion of the movement/culture/religion of hip hop, is currently in completion.
