Paul Breen
I am an author and researcher from Ireland who now lives in London. I'm passionate about film, music, travel, literature, craft beer, and social issues - not necessarily in that order though.
I've climbed Mount Fuji, stood on the border with North Korea & watched the sun go down, trekked through the rainforest in Far Northern Queensland, appeared on Belfast Community TV & BBC radio, written poetry for former Irish President Mary McAleese, wrote a story for a travel magazine and got a free trip around Europe, and have built up a portfolio of academic, news, and fictional articles over the years.
My first work of published fiction is entitled 'The Charlton Men' and has reached the top 20 of Sports Book fiction in the United Kingdom. It has been released in both Kindle and paperback formats.
Aside from writing I am a university lecturer and academic. I have taught in a number of different countries and teach a range of courses. My teacher training took place in Yorkshire, which was the first place that I lived outside of Ireland, the country of my birth.
