1 PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT I am passionate believer that businesses grow if their people grow and that the right structure is in place to ensure that every individual is given the tools and the inspiration to reach their absolute potential. Getting the balance of this right has probably been the single most significant factor in not only my success, but that of all the companies I have worked for. I am a strong campaigner for Equality and Diversity in business.

2 BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS / PARTNERSHIPS. Fundamental to all good Business Development is the ability to "connect" with the people you meet. I believe it is my personable and very honest approach that has allowed clients at the very top of industry to trust what I am saying and know that there isn't anyone more conscientious in making things happen as promised. I have also been responsible for building strategic partnerships with a number of Blue Chip organisations, ensuring that there is a long term and profitability relationship.

3 PROCESS CONTROL While I strongly favour a management style that empowers and develops a team, this has to be balanced with a very strong process understanding. A business without a commitment towards continuous improvement is actually going backwards and so I have always insisted on a detailed approach towards frequent and visual reporting.

4 VALUES, ETHICS and ATTITUDE There is no substitute for hard work. For most of my working life I have always been the first in the office and the last to leave. I have travelled the world extensively and understand what having the right "attitude" really means. Working for people that have and demonstrate the right values can have a significant effect on not only the people in the organisation, but also the sustainable growth of the business.
