Paul Hardy

Originally employed by Orkin Pest Control in 1961, Jimmy “Paul” Hardy has over 52 years experience in the pest control industry. As owner of JP Hardy Consulting LLC, Paul consults small to large pest control companies on a variety of technical issues in termite treatments, fumigation, equipment, development of new technology, methods of control, procedures, forms and development of training for new procedures. He also assists employees and customers by implementing field technical training on new procedures and other technical issues in Pest Control, Termite Control, Fumigation and Commercial Services. Paul is certified in Pest Control in four states including Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
Before starting JP Hardy Consulting LLC, Paul was most recently responsible for selection of equipment, to use in termite control, fumigation and the selection of chemicals to use for pest control and termite services for Orkin. He also routinely served as an expert representative for the company in litigation involving chemical, termite damage, vehicle, general liability and employer related cases.

Paul’s experience led to him publish numerous articles as well as being involved with the several associations, including the GPCA (Georgia Pest Control Association), NPCA (National Pest Control Association), Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Entomological Society of America, Fumigation Advisory Council and more. He has conducted lectures and been keynote speaker for businesses all around the world and was one of the ten leaders selected in 1995, when he won the PCT Leadership Award. He was also inducted into the Pest Control Hall of Fame in 2005 and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the CPCO of Georgia in November of 2007.
