Paul Odera

Born on the eve of the Valentine day of February 1986 in Kamuga village, East Othany Sub-location,Seme South Central Location, Kombewa division in Kisumu district. Odera is a fifth born of the the late intenational cattle businessman Mzee Richard Odera Obong' and the surviving Mama Rosa Atieno Odera. He began his elemenary education at Lieye Primary school and later joined Ngutu Primary school where he did his K.C.P.E which enabled him to secure a chance at Ngere High school but later joined St. Marks' Sec. School -Obambo in Kisumu Kanyawegi (an infant district school by then) in 2002 due to lack of adequate school fees. He, being a hardworker and delignet person, did not dissapoint and graduated from the school with an A- mean grade securing a chance to study at the country's top public university from where he boasts of an Upper Second class honuors degree in BSc. Civil Engineering in 2012.

Odera has since then joined the civil engineering industry in the private sector and has worked as a site engineer in one of the country's highly performing real estate developers and then moved to the rank of an assisitant structural engineer at Apex Systems Consuting group where he is working to date.

He can be remembered for active participation in SoNU leadership politics in the University of Nairobi and other career Organizzations in the same insitutions where he served as Secretary in the Engineering Students Association (ESA) and a member of SoNU student representative in the same institution. He also championed the formation of the then Kisumu Rural University Students Association (KIRUSA) where he served as the association's chairman for two consecutive terms.

Paul still boasts of being a self motivated entrepreneur and would stop at nothing to achieve his dreams of a better and sustainable society that empowers youth and relies on itself. He has a long way to go but he believes in team work, co-operation and determination as he prepares his way into national and international politics .

He is now married to one wife Mrs. Vivian Adhiambo Ochieng from Alego Usonga and have been blessed with a daughter Kimberly Faith Ochieng.
