Ulcanbah Station, Clermont, Queensland, Australia

I'm a freelance photojournalist based on a remote cattle station in Central Queensland. Our family runs Droughtmaster cattle. We live an hour from a small mining town and three hours from a regional centre, Mackay. I write and take photos for a range of magazines, newspapers and industry publications - mostly rural, outback and travel focussed. Living in a remote area, I'm also interested in all things education in rural and remote areas.

This blog is a way to share with you stories and images from some of my assignments as well as what's happening on the home front. I'll share stories - whether they be local or far flung, news, lifestyle or travel stories - with the ups and downs and the mishaps as well as the triumphs.
