•Wrote a complete Collection Development Policy and Planfor the Children’sDepartment, Children in the Library Policy and other library policies that affect children.
•Created several successful new programs such as Books and Babies, Books and Crafts, a monthly movie program, organized playtime, video game events and more.
•Ran a very successful outreach program which received recognition from the state. Consistently increased the number of outreach programs and patrons served each year, exceeding established goals.
•Consistently increased the number of participants each year in the Summer Reading Program. Recognized by the state for number of participants, high number of completes and high attendance rates at summer programs.
•Consistently achieved large increases in both the number of pre-school programs and the number of children and adults served by these programs each year since 2001, exceeding established goals.
