Paula Barroca

Hello. My name is Paula and I'm graduated in civil engineering, since 2013.

I started studying Civil Engineering at University of Beira Interior, because of my interest in the construction industry. In 2011, I decided to continue my studies, making a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structures and Construction.

During my studies I have developed a master thesis in building materials, through the analysis of "Rheological and mechanical behavior of mortars with lightweight aggregates". This thesis was the result of an extensive experimental work, involving the study of a high diversity of mortars with lightweight aggregates.

After that, I worked through an internship as a graduate civil engineer at a consulting engineering firm, during the year of 2014.

Over the past few months I have upgraded and acquired new skills by performing training activities in my professional area and more recently in the fields of computer science.
