Paula Cizek

After graduating from Georgetown University with a double major in Marketing and International Business, Paula worked as a copywriter at an ad agency. Stints in research and social media, however, led her to realize her true interest lay in strategy and innovation. She is especially pleased that her current role at CScout/Mandalah coincidentally involves both Marketing and International Business.

“I love leaving New York almost as much as I love New York. It’s one of the best cities for keeping tabs on what’s up-and-coming, but it’s easy to forget that there’s another world out there. So I get out when I can, see the skyline for the buildings… As you might guess, I’m a bit of a contrarian—but only because I think bringing more perspectives to a problem helps you find the best solution. I’m also more impressed by seemingly low-tech fixes that make the mundane aspects of life better. Those toilet paper rolls that don’t have tubes in the center? Genius.”
