I lived most recently in Longmont, Colorado, after spending most of my "growing years" in Minnesota. I made my 44th move now to Alcester, South Dakota. My husband, Richard, is a General Contractor & Musician, and my Children are - 27 year old Paige, and 22 year old Ryan. Formerly a High School Teacher-Varsity Coach, I have now done most everything...from Admin. Asst. to Restaurant Owner.
Presently I am now affectionately known as "The Chair Lady" - and painting chairs, called "Front Row Seats", had been my passion since 2006. My husband is my teammate, now known as "The Bench Man", and together we are COLORADO TREASURES.
It is Usable Art.
It is “Fun”iture.
And, it is truly ART with a SOUL!
I expanded my horizons in recent years to include furniture of ALL types…and I did not stop there. When you visit “The Chair Lady”, you will find 3D Wall Artscapes, Tissue Paper Collages, Barn Quilts, Vintage Signs, and Recycled and Upcycled unique creations. The HOTTEST ITEMS NOW are the benches made from old HEADBOARDS!
It is my hope, my dream, and my goal … to COLOR THE WORLD … one piece at a time.
