Through its affiliation with Northwestern University and the Feinberg School of Medicine, the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Level I trauma center is a teaching hospital caring for patients across the globe. The Hospital is #6 among 11 children’s hospitals nationally on the Honor Roll of the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals for 2016-2017. Katz’ commitment to the health and care of children is also reflected in his support of the Children’s Research Fund and Jewish Child & Family Services.

The Children’s Research Fund was created to raise financial support to eradicate debilitating disease and birth defects in children. Affiliated with the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, The Children’s Research Fund is a benefactor of the Stanly Manne Children’s Research Institute. Philanthropic donors like Paul Andre Katz support the education, outreach, fundraising and annual Children’s Ball which has raised over $100 million for medical research. Katz is also an enthusiastic donor and supporter of Jewish Child & Family Services of Chicago. JCFS provides care and counseling services to families and children suffering from conditions, disease, mental illness and difficult circumstances.
